How to use
- Step 1Type the team names and tap the score buttons: +1 for a free throw, +2 for a field goal, +3 from behind the arc.
- Step 2Start the game clock with one tap; the shot clock runs with it. Reset the shot clock to 24 or 14 after a change of possession or an offensive rebound.
- Step 3Tap “Share live” to get a view link for the TV, a tablet on the scorer's table or parents in the stands. Only your edit link can change the score.
How basketball scoring works
A field goal is worth two points, or three if the shooter releases the ball from behind the three-point line. A free throw is worth one point. There is no other way to score, so the board has exactly three buttons per team.
Team fouls accumulate per quarter. Once a team reaches the bonus threshold, every subsequent defensive foul sends the opponent to the free-throw line. The board shows BONUS next to the team fouls when the threshold is reached and clears the count at the start of each quarter, as the rules do.

What this scoreboard tracks
- Score per team with +1, +2 and +3 buttons and a minus to correct mistakes.
- Game clock with tenths of a second under one minute; period length is adjustable from 6 to 12 minutes, overtime is 5 minutes by default.
- Shot clock with 24-second and 14-second resets; it stops and starts together with the game clock. Switch it off for youth games.
- Team fouls per quarter with a BONUS indicator, timeouts remaining, and a possession arrow for jump-ball situations.
- Undo for the last actions, swap sides at half time, full-screen display mode for a TV or projector.
Tips for running the clock
The clock stops on every whistle. Keep one thumb over the start/stop button and use the other hand for scoring. If you are alone at the table, score first and fix the clock during the next dead ball — the clock can be nudged by a second in either direction without stopping the game.
Under one minute the display shows tenths of a second, which is the standard in FIBA and NBA games. A horn sounds on the controlling device when the clock or the shot clock reaches zero; turn it off in the settings if you use a real horn.
Questions and answers
Can people watch the score without installing anything?
Yes. Tap “Share live” and send the view link; it opens in any browser, on a phone or on a smart TV, and updates as you score. Only the edit link can change anything.
Does the shot clock reset to 14 seconds?
Yes. There are two reset buttons: 24 seconds for a new possession and 14 seconds after an offensive rebound, as in FIBA and NBA rules. For college or high-school games set the shot clock to 30 or 35 seconds in the settings, or switch it off.
How long are the quarters?
Ten minutes by default (FIBA and NCAA women). Choose 12 for NBA rules or 8 for high school in the settings; the change applies to the next period, or immediately if the current period has not started.
What happens if I lose the edit link?
The edit link is the only key to your board and cannot be recovered, so save it where you will find it. The view link keeps working, and creating a new board takes seconds.
Can I use it on a scoreboard TV in the gym?
Open the view link on the TV's browser or a plugged-in laptop and press the full-screen button. Team colors, the clock and the scores scale to the screen size.
